Pagist is built by 42NE Ltd with a strong commitment to your privacy. The app converts Markdown files to PDF documents entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Pagist does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
All Markdown parsing and PDF generation happens locally on your device. Your files never leave your iPhone, iPad, or Mac unless you explicitly choose to share or export them.
If you enable the optional iCloud sync feature, your generated PDF files are stored in your personal iCloud Drive container. This data is managed entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. 42NE Ltd does not have access to your iCloud data.
The Pagist Share Extension allows you to send Markdown files from other apps into Pagist for conversion. Shared files are stored locally in an App Group container on your device and are not transmitted externally.
Pagist offers an optional in-app purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store: 42NE Ltd never sees or receives your payment details. To check whether you own a purchase, the app asks Apple's StoreKit framework — this is the only case in which Pagist communicates outside your device, and it transmits no information about your documents.
Pagist does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. The app uses only Apple's native frameworks (PDFKit, CoreGraphics, CoreText, SwiftUI, StoreKit).
Pagist does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not collect information from any user regardless of age.
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Pagist after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
